Ruan Transport recently promoted Wayne Ashley to vice president and region manager, responsible for all operation and service requirements for multiple terminals, including Middletown, Del.; San Antonio; Yuma, Ariz.; and Portland, Ore. He will be based in Milwaukee.
“This promotion recognizes Wayne’s extensive knowledge, experience and ability in the transportation services industry,” says Terry Solvedt, senior vice president and Eastern region general manager for Des Moines, Iowa-based Ruan. “His integrity to coordinate operational and service level initiatives will add value to Ruan and our customers.”
Ashley most recently served as account manager at the company’s customer facility in Milwaukee, where he was the primary contact for daily business issues. He also has served as terminal manager in Winston-Salem, N.C. Ashley has been employed with Ruan for more than 10 years.
