ArvinMeritor’s Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket business announced today, Jan. 23, at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week its new Meritor All-Makes Air Systems Program. Available immediately, the program provides a complete portfolio of all-makes air valves, air compressors, air dryers and cartridges, and air hose assemblies, the Troy, Mich.-based company says.

“This program has been launched to provide our customers greater flexibility in their air systems inventory in addition to overall ordering simplicity,” says Joe Mejaly, vice president and general manager of CVA. “Purchases from various suppliers can be consolidated, while remanufactured products can be converted to outright products without core charges and administrative efforts.”

The program will include 1,000 part numbers to accommodate various vehicle requirements; this is in addition to the existing portfolio of Meritor WABCO products such as tractor, truck, bus and anti-lock braking systems. Remanufactured products also will be available for those customers that prefer a core-based program.

In addition to providing customers with increased alternatives for their air systems portfolios, the program is backed by ArvinMeritor support. The company says customers can count on experienced district sales managers, www.XpresswayPlus.com online parts ordering system, customer service teams for quick and reliable answers, and a large array of supporting literature.

“This support factor is a key element in our new program,” Mejaly says. “Customers can obtain their air system products from numerous sources, but what they can’t get from those sources is the support we provide to help them grow their business.”
