On Jan. 18 and 19, each professional tank truck driver at CTL Transportation’s terminals in Tampa and Mulberry, Fla., were treated to a full breakfast and lunch.

“It is important that the men and women who make CTL what it is today receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve,” says Ken Wieck, director of human resources and driver recruiting.

On both days, breakfast was prepared and served to a waiting crowd of drivers by 3 a.m. The breakfast menu consisted of sausage, bacon, eggs, rolls, muffins, breakfast potatoes and cold drinks. Lunch was prepared and served at 10 a.m. and consisted of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, banana pudding, macaroni salad and cold drinks.

“We truly enjoy our appreciation events, and I believe the drivers do as well,” says Ken Bauer, CTL president. “We want each of our professional drivers to know how much they are appreciated, and these events help us with that.”
