FFE Transportation Services, a subsidiary of Frozen Food Express Industries, announced Monday, Feb. 12, that Scott W. Webb has been named vice president and general manager of FFE Logistics, the company’s freight brokerage and logistics subsidiary. Webb will report to John T. Hickerson, president of American Eagle Lines and FFE Logistics.
Webb, 31, joins FFE after serving as president of an asset-based intermodal transportation firm in the Pacific Northwest region. Prior to that, he spent eight years with BNSF Railway in finance, business development and national account sales, intermodal sales and marketing, as well as operations.
“Scott Webb is a welcomed addition to the FFE team, and will bring the necessary skills to drive our growth strategy in the brokerage, logistics and intermodal segments,” says Stoney “Mit” Stubbs, president and chief executive officer of Dallas-based FFE Transportation Services. “We will be concentrating efforts to grow dynamically in these areas.”
