Great Dane Trailers recently announced that David Gilliland has been promoted to vice president of branch sales and operations. Gilliland replaces Tracey Maynor, who voluntarily resigned his position at Great Dane.
“Dave has outstanding sales experience, a strong knowledge of the truck trailer industry, great interpersonal and communication skills, and insightful management and team-building abilities,” says Phill Pines, chief operating officer of Savannah, Ga.-based Great Dane.
Gilliland has been with Great Dane for the past 18 years, most recently as director of sales and administration. His career includes experience in parts, service, sales, national accounts and manufacturing. Prior to joining Great Dane, Gilliland was at Fruehauf for eight years in a variety of sales and management positions.
Great Dane Trailers is a manufacturer of dry van, refrigerated and platform trailers, with headquarters in Savannah and Chicago, and nine U.S. manufacturing plants.
