YRC Regional appoints company presidents

YRC Regional Transportation, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc., announced Friday, May 4, that Gary Pruden has been named president and chief executive officer of USF Glen Moore. The company also named John M. O’Sullivan president of USF Holland.

Pruden previously served as chief financial officer for New Penn and USF Glen Moore. He has been in the industry for more than 15 years, serving in executive positions including CFO and chief operating officer, with broad experience in operations, sales and finance.

“We are proud to recognize Gary as the new president and CEO of USF Glen Moore,” says Jim Staley, president and CEO of Akron, Ohio-based YRC Regional Transportation. “He has an intimate knowledge of the YRC Regional brands, and we are confident he will lead USF Glen Moore in continuing to deliver high-quality service, flexible solutions and complete customer and driver satisfaction across dedicated, regional and national markets.”

O’Sullivan, who previously served as CFO at YRC Regional Transportation, also has held executive management positions within USF Corp., including CFO for USF Holland two years ago.

“We are pleased to recognize John as the new president of USF Holland,” Staley says. “John has been an influential leader in the USF organization. We are confident that his intimate knowledge of the brand will help him lead USF Holland in continuing to build on the well-recognized reputation in the marketplace.”
