The Department of Transportation recently published its semiannual regulatory agenda. The 91-page notice in the April 30 Federal Register is a summary of all current and projected rulemakings, reviews of existing regulations and completed actions of the department.

Some of the rulemakings listed include: replacing three current identification and registration systems with an online Federal Unified Registration System; increasing the hazardous materials registration fees for those companies not meeting the definition of a small business; revisions to the List of Hazardous Substances and Reportable Quantities; and more.
