Travis Body & Trailer of Houston has announced the appointments of its four newest independent dealers: Mastell Brothers Trailer Services of Forest Lake, Minn.; Semi Service of Salt Lake City; General Trailer Parts of Springfield, Ore.; and Walker’s Trailer Sales of Monroe, La.

  • Mastell Brothers will represent Travis in the entire state of Minnesota. Rick and Troy Mastell started Mastell Brothers in 1988 as a trailer repair shop. Their father, Dave, got them started in the business, working on his rental trailers during their summers in high school. Dave also owned and operated a trailer sales and service company until 1981. Beside common trailer repair, the Mastell brothers quickly found a knack in doing walking floor and open-top conversions; they also install side doors, liftgates, roll tarps and other special trailer modifications. In 2004, Mastell Brothers moved into a 20-bay, 25,000-square-foot facility in Columbus, Minn. The company currently has 25 employees and is continuing to expand.
  • Semi Service will represent Travis in the entire state of Utah. The company has been in business for more than 30 years, with four locations across Salt Lake City, including three repair shops and three parts facilities.
  • General Trailer Parts, which will represent Travis in the entire state of Oregon, is a manufacturer of standard and custom-made lightweight heavy industrial transport and steering trailers serving the timber industry and heavy hauling industries. General Trailer headquarters is located in Springfield, with three other locations in Oregon City; Milton, Wash.; and Redding, Calif.
  • Walker’s Trailer Sales, which will represent Travis in Northeast Louisiana and Western Mississippi, says it offers a huge selection of new or used trailer inventory, as well as a wide selection of finance options.
