Innovative Computing Corp., a provider of enterprise level software and service solutions to the truckload motor carrier industry, announced today, May 8, that Transportation Costing Group, specialists in Profitability Management Tools for the transportation industry, has been named the first Preferred Partner to its newly created program. The announcement was made during ICE 2007, the 24th annual Innovative Conference and Exhibition.
“We have been consistently impressed with how TCG has worked with us to support our strategic directions and our mutual customers,” says Ernie Betancourt, president of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Innovative. “With this recognition, we are pleased to honor TCG for its ongoing efforts and to elevate our relationship to the next level. Our new Preferred Partner designation will be used to honor companies and associations that have supported us in our effort to satisfy the needs of our motor carrier clients.”
The announcement naming TCG as Innovative’s first Preferred Partner follows the recent introduction of I-PAT (Innovative Profitability Analysis Tools), an option developed by the two companies designed to quickly and accurately enable motor carriers using Innovative Enterprise Software (IES) to seamlessly transfer data to TCG’s Truckload Cost Information System, an activity-based costing solution with full reconciliation to a carrier’s general ledger. TCG and Innovative say they worked closely to create I-PAT for carrier clients that are highly receptive to implementing Profitability Management Tools into their management and business improvement processes.
