Bayne Premium Lift Systems, a manufacturer of hydraulic cart lifters for refuse collection vehicles and commercial/industrial applications, announced today, May 16, that it has hired Greg Keller as purchasing manager. Keller will be responsible for obtaining supplies and materials used in Bayne’s production processes, oversee the company’s inventory management and lean manufacturing systems, and provide staff training on lean manufacturing.

“Greg brings a wealth of experience in supply chain, quality and system improvements that will be invaluable as we continuously strengthen our position as the industry leader in cart lifter manufacturing and distribution,” says Chip Williams, controllor for Greenville, S.C.-based Bayne.

Keller has wide-ranging experience in manufacturing. Immediately prior to joining Bayne, he had served as quality engineering manager with Mergon Corp., a plastics molding company in Anderson, S.C. He previously held positions as a supply chain manager and a new model manager for other manufacturers.
