Travis Body & Trailer of Houston recently announced the appointments of its three newest independent dealers: Mastell Brothers Trailer Services of Forest Lake, Minn.; Semi Service of Salt Lake City; and General Trailer Parts of Springfield, Ore.
Mastell Brothers will represent Travis in the entire state of Minnesota. Rick and Troy Mastell started Mastell Brothers in 1988 as a trailer repair shop. Their father, Dave, got them started in the business, working on his rental trailers during their summers in high school. Dave also owned and operated a trailer sales and service company until 1981. Beside common trailer repair, the Mastell brothers quickly found a knack in doing walking floor and open-top conversions; they also install side doors, liftgates, roll tarps and other special trailer modifications. In 2004, Mastell Brothers moved into a 20-bay, 25,000-square-foot facility in Columbus, Minn. The company currently has 25 employees and is continuing to expand.
