The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists has announced its September 2007 Technician Training Clinic, which will be held at the Hendrickson training facility in Woodridge, Ill. The clinic is being organized with the assistance of Bill Wade of Wade & Partners, noted speaker and consultant to the aftermarket.

The focus of the clinic is the Hendrickson Airtek, Primaax and Haulmaax suspension systems. Hendrickson instructors will go through each suspension system, the operating principles, the components that wear, alignment procedures and the limitations of the suspensions. According to ACOFAS, this is a great opportunity for all in attendance to see where the suspensions are designed, experimental models are built and tested, and when occasions arise that suspensions are diagnosed for problems.

The dates are Tuesday, Sept. 11, and Wednesday, Sept. 12. Attendance is limited to 50. Registration is $150 for regular members, $200 for associate members and $300 for nonmembers; associate members are members of SSA, HDDA and THECC. For more information, call Gordon Botts at 815-482-4255. Registration forms will be available soon on the ACOFAS website, www.acofas.com, in the nonmember information section.
