Boyd Bros. opens Cincinnati terminal

With expansion of its flatbed business in the Midwest, Boyd Bros. Transportation has opened a Cincinnati, Ohio, terminal. The terminal includes facilities for maintenance and driver orientation. The Clayton, Ala.-based carrier also operates terminals in Clayton and Birmingham, Ala.

Nathan Meisgeier, president of Omaha, Nebraska-based Werner Enterprises, said his carrier is committing to hire 1,400 veterans over the coming year as part of the Freedom Haulers initiative.
