Penske Truck Leasing has opened a $9 million, 18,000-square-foot facility in Sacramento, Calif. The complex, which offers commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance, handles about 60 leasing customers and nearly 750 vehicles.
The Sacramento facility has four service bays, a truck washing bay and a three-lane fuel island with high-speed fuel pumps. It also features wireless technology that allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software. GE fluorescent light bulbs with electronic ballasts use 50 percent less energy than standard bulbs.
