Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC), a network of heavy duty and medium duty truck dealers with 39 locations in 10 states, recently released an entirely re-designed Web site, www.mhctruck.com , that was built for ease of use.

The Web site was redesigned based on research and direct feedback from many of MHC’s customers.

Some of the new features include:

1. A truck search bar that allows customers to search New & Used Inventory from every page of the Web site

2. A link to the “find a location” feature from every page in the site

3. A secure customer extranet to be launched in the coming months that will provide MHC’s customers with a set of applications tied to their accounts with MHC.

President Tim Murphy said the Web site launch is an important part of MHC’s commitment to quality and support of its customers.

“Our new Web site will help better serve our customers,” he said. “Its increased functionality will allow users to more easily navigate the site, find locations within the MHC network and find information about current parts and service specials and dealership events.”

One of the enhancements, the truck search bar feature, will allow users to search MHC’s entire vehicle inventory in 39 locations with the click of a mouse. Users will be able to search both new and used trucks and get immediate results straight from MHC’s inventory system.

Vice President of Used Truck Operations Bryan Haupt said the truck search function is an important feature of the new Web site.

“The easily visible truck search bar will allow our customers and other users to get instantaneous search results for trucks in our inventory,” he said. “In addition, the new site has a Sell My Truck feature that will allow customers to start the process of selling a truck to MHC’s Used Truck Department. Both of these functions will enhance the user’s experience at our Web site and improve their interactions with MHC.”

The new Web site will feature an expanded newsroom section, which will allow online users the chance to stay current with MHC and industry news.
