Ryder System, a Miami-based provider of transportation and supply chain management solutions, announced Monday, July 9, the grand opening of two new Canadian service facilities. The new Concord location at Creditstone Road is centrally located near the 400 and 407 Highways, and is Ryder’s 12th location in the Greater Toronto Area. The new Ottawa location at 2393 Stevenage Drive is located in the heart of Hawthorn Business Park and marks Ryder’s second location in Ottawa.

“These centralized locations were built to better serve the needs of our valued customers and accommodate the increasing demand for our fleet services in these growing markets,” says Doug Hill, vice president of operations and fleet management solutions for Ryder Canada. “This is an extension of our commitment to providing reliable services that exceed our customers’ expectations.”

Ryder says the new facilities will immediately service its growing Full Service Lease and Programmed Maintenance customers, which includes a diverse fleet of more than 500 vehicles at these locations, including panel vans, light- and heavy-duty straight trucks, and tractors, from existing accounts with the capacity to grow as Ryder expands service in these areas. Ryder says the new locations include fully equipped truck repair shops, staffed with qualified diesel technicians, in order to service its extensive commercial fleet leasing and rental customers.

Ryder’s Full Service Lease and Maintenance offerings are customized transportation solutions designed to provide customers with vehicles and a variety of support services, including emergency roadside assistance, preventive maintenance services, equipment evaluations and specification, fleet management reporting tools, administrative support and driver safety programs.
