Leyman Lift Gates has made a heavy-duty large steel platform available on its SLP Hide-A-Way lift gates, which the company says is the largest platform gate in its application. The company says the SLP Hide-A-Way, designed to help ease loading and unloading, is available with lifting capacities of 2,500 and 3,500 pounds and is virtually maintenance-free, featuring greaseless major pivot points. The power unit provides thermal protection for the motor, and chrome plated pins add years to the gate’s operational life, according to Leyman.
The SLP Hide-A-Way features low PSI due to a larger cylinder surface, and the steel motor and pump enclosure provides vital components with year-round protection from the elements, the company says. Other standard features include marine toggle switch, manual transit lock, pressure-compensated flow control, and spring-assisted opening and closing. The SLP Hide-A-Way is shipped with a heavy-duty platform extension and arrives completely assembled, Leyman says.
The SLP 2500W lift gate with a wedge platform measures 80 inches wide by 52 inches deep and accommodates bed heights ranging from 44 inches to 56 inches. The SLP 2500WLB lift gate with a wedge platform measures 80 inches wide by 50 inches deep; it accommodates bed heights ranging from 36 inches to 44 inches. The SLP 3500W lift gate with a wedge platform measures 80 inches wide by 52 inches deep and accommodates bed heights ranging from 44 inches to 56 inches.
