TravelCenters of America recently announced the opening of its 234th travel center located on 30 acres adjacent to Interstate 35 in Laredo, Texas. The TA Laredo is accessed by northbound drivers on I-35 at Exit 11, Beltway Parkway, and by southbound drivers on I-35 at Exit 13, Beltway Parkway.

Customers can enjoy a meal at Country Pride, a sit-down restaurant that offers country-style food with Southwest regional specialties on the menu, such as spicy enchilada and burrito platters. They also can choose from three quick-serve restaurants — Burger King, Subway or Taco Bell Express — located in a food court with both indoor and outdoor seating. In addition, a 3,200-square-foot store offers a selection of products, snacks and beverages, including TA Café Express.

“Our goal is to provide a state-of-the-art facility for our customers,” says Chuck Garza, general manager of TA Laredo. “We look forward to the opportunity to serve professional drivers, interstate drivers and the community of Laredo with the best amenities and services available.”

TA Laredo also has a five-bay truck service center that is open 24 hours, seven days a week. Other conveniences at the site include eight diesel lanes with Pronto Pass, a 350-space truck parking area and Cat scales. Professional drivers can relax in a lounge area with WiFi access, a game room, TripPak Scanning, a laundry room and 11 showers. TA Laredo participates in the RoadKing Club program, so club members will be able to earn points on qualifying purchases.
