Klein Tools has added the Journeyman J2000-9NECRTP side-cutting pliers with multiple design features to its Journeyman line, which already includes pliers, cutters and other hand tools. Klein says the pliers include a built-in crimper for use on noninsulated connectors, lugs and terminals, and a built-in channel that pulls steel fish tape without damaging the tape.

The multitasking pliers — which feature contoured, cushioned handles and heavy-duty cutting knives — cut ACSR, screws, nails and most hardened wire, according to the company. The handles are made using a dual-material molding process designed to allow for a softer, more comfortable firm grip on the outer surface; while the inner surface and handle ends are made with a harder, more durable grip for added toughness and durability.

The Journeyman line features hot-riveted joints for smooth action, induction-hardened cutting knives for long life, and custom-made tool steel, the company says. For more information, go to www.kleintools.com.
