The 2007 Expedite Expo moves into the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio, and organizers of this weekend’s event say that attendees will discover the opportunities, trucks, equipment and services available to owner-operators in expedited trucking. There will be more than 100 exhibitors covering 70,000 square feet with 30 carriers represented at the event, set for Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28.

The Speedco Supertruck Driveaway Sweepstakes is open to CDL holders who attend the show. They will have the opportunity to win a customized expediter truck that has been “tricked out” by the Chrome Shop Mafia of “Trick My Truck” fame. The truck features a 460-hp engine, 10-speed transmission and a custom paint job. For contest rules, visit the Speedco website. Members of the Chrome Shop Mafia will be on hand to meet and greet their fans and sign autographs.

The expo also will award a lucky attendee with $1,000; expo visitors can vote for their favorite truck exhibited by a truck dealer in the Progressive Insurance Expedite Drivers Choice Award. Seminars also will be held; from buying a truck to performing maintenance, the workshops offer the attendees the opportunity to hear the professionals in expedited trucking speak on a variety of topics.

The Roberts Convention Centre is located along Interstate 71 at Exit 50. For more details, visit the Expedite Expo website. Show times are Friday, July 27, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Saturday, July 28, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
