PHH FirstFleet — a national provider of asset management, financial services and high-technology operational support to the nation’s private truck fleets — and Wright Express Corp., a provider of payment processing and information management services to the U.S. and Canadian commercial and government fleet industry, recently announced the introduction of a new branded fleet fuel card for PHH FirstFleet customers.

The fleet card, developed by Wright Express, is intended to enhance PHH FirstFleet’s ability to offer a nationally accepted fleet card, branded with the PHH FirstFleet logo, to all its light-, medium- and heavy truck, tractor, trailer and material-handling equipment fleet customers. The card is accepted at more than 180,000 fuel and vehicle maintenance locations, including more than 8,200 truck stops and 50,000 retail sites for diesel fuel. Customized specifically by PHH FirstFleet for its client base, the card program offers convenience, consolidated billing, comprehensive reporting, fraud control and cost management capabilities, the companies say.

“We’re delighted PHH FirstFleet partnered with Wright Express to provide its fuel card,” says Mike Dubyak, president of South Portland, Maine-based Wright Express. “We look forward to providing PHH FirstFleet with a world-class set of services that enhance its success in meeting the needs of its clients.”

“PHH FirstFleet clients are looking for ways to achieve comprehensive cost management and enhanced productivity,” says Mike Lewis, president and general manager of the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based company. “This expanded fuel program is a major enhancement to the full range of services we provide as a one-stop resource to private truck fleets.”
