McLeod Software — a provider of dispatch, accounting and enterprise management solutions for trucking and brokerage firms — announced that its annual Users’ Conference will be held Oct. 3-6 at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, Ala.

The conference will feature guest speakers Jim O’Neal, chairman of the Truckload Carriers Association and president of O & S Trucking; and ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello. McLeod says this year’s conference not only will provide its users with additional education on its products and services, but also will provide a first-hand look at significant new software developments.

In keeping with its chosen theme of “Staying Ahead of the Curve,” McLeod says it will be demonstrating new products and modules, including updated versions to its LoadMaster and PowerBroker software programs, new document imaging automation products, EDI enhancements and new interfaces to more industry partners. The Users’ Conference will be the first time many of these products will be publicly introduced, according to the company.

Educational sessions and hands-on training on the new ACE E-manifest border module, as well as several break-out sessions conducted by McLeod partners and product users, will be held throughout the conference. To register, go to www.mcleodsoftware.com.
