During a recent awards ceremony in Savannah, Ga., Pressure Systems International presented Great Dane Trailers with their 2006 Customer Excellence Award. PSI says it chose Great Dane to receive this annual award for their contribution in making the Meritor Tire Inflation System by PSI the most widely used tire inflation system in the world.
Great Dane offers MTIS as an optional automatic tire inflation system spec for their trailers. Because of promotions that began in 2006, MTIS by PSI has garnered more than 20 percent of all new Great Dane trailers produced to date in 2007. Retrofit kits and replacement parts also are offered through their branch and dealership network.
Tim Musgrave, president and chief executive officer of San Antonio-based PSI, expressed the appreciation of Pressure Systems International to Great Dane. “To have a company with the quality reputation of Great Dane selecting MTIS as a preferred spec for their trailers is an outstanding achievement for us, and we are confident this relationship brings benefits to them as well,” Musgrave says.
Great Dane recognizes the value of a strong working relationship, says Chris Hammond, the trailer maker’s vice president of dealer sales. “The factory and sales support provided by PSI has made this an easy product to install and sell,” Hammond says. “They are a quality company, and they have the kind of people we enjoy partnering with.”
