Central States Trucking recently received the 2006 Fleet Safety Award from Acuity Insurance and A.N. Ansay & Associates. Acuity presented the award to the Bensenville, Ill.-based carrier for “exceptional fleet safety and commitment to accident reduction.”
Acuity Insurance, headquartered in Sheboygan, Wis., is an independent property and casualty insurance agency. A.N. Ansay & Associates, based in Port Washington, Wis., serves the insurance and benefits needs of more than 8,000 individual and business clients.
“We are honored to receive the 2006 Fleet Safety Award for our commitment to the families of our drivers, and the other families on the road who travel alongside our trucks,” says Doug Grane, president of Central States Trucking. “Our drivers travel millions of miles per year, and we take pride in delivering our goods in a timely and safe manner.”
Central States Trucking operates in six Midwestern states and serves customers in four specific areas of transportation: container drayage (intermodal), dedicated contract, line haul and CFS warehouse (ocean and air freight break bulk).
