Extending a new level of support to owner-operators, SelecTrucks has launched what it calls the used truck industry’s first down payment match program. Matching 50 percent of customers’ down payments on eligible trucks, the program reflects SelecTrucks’ focus on innovative solutions that make a practical difference to used truck customers, the company says.
“We are committed to helping our customers succeed in today’s marketplace,” says Drew Backeberg, manager of marketing and customer support at Freightliner Market Development Corp. (FMDC), the division responsible for used truck distribution and parent of Portland, Ore.-based SelecTrucks. “The down payment match program is designed to help owner-operators meet their business goals by providing an upfront boost so that they can focus on long-term success.”
With the new program, SelecTrucks will match 50 percent of qualifying used truck buyers’ down payments toward eligible used trucks up to $2,500. Valid for one down payment match per customer, the program is available through Aug. 31. Customers should inquire at a SelecTrucks Center or call 800-576-3743 for complete details.
