Hornsby, Skaggs to headline ATA Annual Conference

Country and bluegrass superstars Bruce Hornsby and Ricky Skaggs will bring their own brand of musical magic to the 2007 American Trucking Associations Management Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Fla. Hornsby and Skaggs will be performing at the ATA Annual Banquet on Oct. 23.

With 15 Grammys between them, Skaggs and Hornsby have been enchanting audiences for more than 30 years with such hits as “Heartbroke,” “Highway 40 Blues,” ” Valley Road” and “The Way It Is.” Both stellar individual live performers are equally adept in the studio and in ensemble, and have collaborated with legendary artists ranging from Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris and Earl Skruggs, to Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. Skaggs and Hornsby also are well recognized in music circles as innovators, moving effortlessly across genres and styles. Their current collaboration is a mix of sparkling bluegrass and classic country, and a bit of pop and rock blended in.
