New director joins P.A.M. Transportation’s expanded board

P.A.M. Transportation Inc. announced Wednesday, Aug. 8, that W. Scott Davis has joined its board of directors. The Tontitown, Ark.-based trucking firm expanded the size of its board from eight to nine on Aug. 2.

Davis, elected for a term that extends until the company’s 2008 annual meeting, also was appointed to serve on the board’s compensation and stock option committee.

Davis, now a private investor, worked for Stephens Inc., a Little Rock-based investment banking firm, from 1987 to 2006. He was an executive vice president of Stephens from 2002 to 2006, and was a managing director from 2000 to 2002.
