Penske Truck Leasing recently announced that it has introduced new state-of-the-art facilities in Lakeland, Fla., and Springfield, Mo. Both locations offer commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance. The one-story buildings incorporate Penske Truck Leasing’s new facility design elements and features state-of-the-art technology to enhance the customer experience, the company says.

The Lakeland location, at 1700 Kathleen Road, is 18,000 square feet and cost about $6 million to construct; nearly 550 vehicles are maintained on-site at the eight-acre location, which serves about 65 leasing customers. The Springfield facility, at 2526 N. Neergard Ave., cost about $5 million to construct, and employs 20 associates at the 14,000-square-feet seven-acre location; about 50 leasing customers and nearly 400 vehicles are maintained at the facility.

Each site has four service bays, an automated truck washing bay and multilane fuel islands with high-speed fuel pumps, the company says; additionally, a new wireless technology component at both facilities allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software.
