HTP America says its Reader Safety glasses, designed for eye protection, have built-in reader magnification, allowing workers to wear a single pair of safety glasses without having to also wear a separate set for reading.

Featuring an ergonomic, contemporary nylon frame, Reader Safety glasses combine seven base polycarbonate lenses, the company says; and a soft, rubber nosepad with self-adjusting fingers at the bridge of the glasses offer extended user comfort. The clear, wraparound lenses are designed to deliver extended peripheral vision and come in a choice of four diopter strengths: +1.0, +1.5, +2.0 and +2.5.

The glasses, available with a yellow or brown tint, offer 99.9 percent ultraviolet protection up to 400 nanometers, according to the company, and exceed ANBSIZ87.1 – 2003 high-velocity industrial safety standards. For more information, go to www.usaweld.com.
