CrossBridge Solutions, a provider of wireless data services to a variety of companies, announced today, Oct. 1, that it has signed 55 new customers in its first year under GeoLogic’s ownership. CrossBridge, based in Lincolnshire, Ill., says that to date it serves 115 companies with customer bases that range from a few devices to several thousand wireless users.

GeoLogic Solutions purchased the network — formerly known as iMotient Solutions — from Motient Communications in September 2006. The CrossBridge service provides cellular data communications on the AT&T and Sprint networks and satellite communication services from Orbcomm to a variety of companies that utilize wireless data communications as part of their mobile or field service applications.

“With customers ranging both in size and needs, CrossBridge and GeoLogic are very similar in our philosophy on providing superior customer service no matter who the customer is,” says John Lewis, president of Herndon, Va.-based GeoLogic Solutions. “We are committed to continuing to offer that excellent service not only to our MobileMax customers in the trucking industry but to the other 114 companies that now depend upon the CrossBridge service for their wireless data needs.”
