Doug Dorn will be assuming the role of director – OEM sales in Europe for the powered vehicle systems business unit, SAF-Holland announced today, Oct. 4. Dorn will lead the commercial and technical activities of the truck OEM fifth-wheel business for the European market.
In 2000, Dorn joined the Holland Group in the sales department as a national fleet account manager. He then served as product marketing manager for fifth wheels, and truck OEM account manager. Prior to his latest promotion, Dorn was manager of truck OEM business development.
SAF-Holland designs, manufactures and distributes components, systems and services to the heavy-duty commercial vehicle industry. The Holland, Mich.-based company’s product portfolio includes axles and braking systems, trailer and truck suspension systems, fifth wheels, kingpins, landing gear, pintle hooks, drawbars, couplers, liftgates and roll-formed components.
