Hadley — a manufacturer and marketer of truck, transit and RV products — announced Tuesday, Oct. 16, that it has earned the Masters of Quality award from Freightliner LLC. Hadley was one of only 48 manufacturers selected from 1,800 currently supplying Freightliner to receive the award, which recognizes Freightliner suppliers for quality excellence.

Freightliner LLC — which builds Freightliner, Western Star and Sterling heavy-duty commercial vehicles — presented the Masters of Quality award on Sept. 26 during an on-site ceremony at Hadley’s headquarters in Grandville, Mich.

“It is a privilege to be recognized by the world’s largest truck manufacturer with this prestigious award,” says Bob Dubsky, president of Hadley. This is the third time Hadley has received the Masters of Quality award, and it is the second consecutive year the company has achieved the honor.

“The entire Hadley team works hard to meet Freightliner’s rigid requirements,” Dubsky says. “Receiving the Masters of Quality award two consecutive years confirms to us that we are all continuing to excel at our goal to produce high-quality products for Freightliner and their end-customers.”

Freightliner suppliers are evaluated quarterly for the annual Masters of Quality award. They are judged on more than 100 criteria, including delivery, sales and technical support, quality, engineering, service, aftermarket parts availability, product training, warranty, purchasing and marketing. Hadley currently supplies height control valves, mirrors and air horn systems to Freightliner, Western Star and Sterling Trucks.

Hadley designs, manufactures and markets products for Class 5-8 trucks, tractor-trailers, transit and shuttle buses, RVs, motorcoaches, specialty vehicle markets and associated aftermarket distribution.
