Covenant driver wins Barr-Nunn/Changing Lanes contest

Barr-Nunn and Changing Lanes magazine recently teamed up to send Barr-Nunn Transportation’s most recent sweepstakes winner on an all-expense-paid trip to the Dollar General 300 race at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C.

Rocky Peek, a company driver for Covenant Transport, was the sweepstakes winner of the race. Peek has been a driver for more than 20 years and was provided with hotel accommodations. Barr-Nunn driver representative Jim Pardoe was Peek’s host for the race.

Peek, who watched from the pit, says he had a whole new perspective on the race. He also met two-time winner of the NASCAR Championship, Buddy Baker. A tour of the garage area also was provided.

Changing Lanes magazine is produced by Randall-Reilly Publishing, which also produces CCJ and Overdrive magazines.
