Marquette Funding recently announced that it has changed its name to Marquette Transportation Finance Inc. The company’s new Web address is www.marqtransfinance.com.
“Since our beginning, we have been dedicated to providing working capital financing solely to the trucking industry,” says Richard Voreis, president and chief executive officer of the Bloomington, Minn.-based company. “Our new name more clearly conveys this dedication and expertise in the marketplace.”
Voreis says Marquette Transportation Finance has extensive industry knowledge and understands the needs, challenges and opportunities’ facing today’s trucking companies. “We will continue to be a part of Marquette Financial Companies — only our name is changing,” Voreis says.
Marquette Financial Companies is part of the Carl Pohlad family’s diverse business holdings, which also include significant interest in the beverage industry, real estate and ownership in the Minnesota Twins.
