Kenworth receives FedEx Freight Outstanding Performance Award

Kenworth Truck Co. recently received a FedEx Freight Outstanding Performance Award based on its exceptional performance during the past fiscal year.

“It’s an honor for Kenworth Truck Company to receive this prestigious award from FedEx Freight,” says Bob Christensen, general manager of Kirkland, Wash.-based Kenworth and Paccar vice president.

Christensen accepted the award during FedEx Freight’s annual supplier performance awards banquet in Memphis, Tenn.

The Tesla electric Semi logged 4,494 miles, averaging 321 miles per day with an overall energy efficiency of 1.55 kWh per mile over a three-week test with ABF Freight.
