USF Holland, an operating unit of YRC Regional Transportation, announced Wednesday, Nov. 7, that it has accelerated delivery times between cities on 13 lanes. The lane pairs that have been upgraded to next-day delivery are:

  • Charlotte, N.C., to and from Evansville, Ind., Fort Wayne, Ind., and Indianapolis;
  • Fort Wayne to and from Chattanooga, Tenn.,, Greensboro, N.C., and Harrisburg, Pa.;
  • Greensboro to and from Detroit, Indianapolis and Toledo, Ohio;
  • Indianapolis to and from Harrisburg;
  • Raleigh, N.C., to and from Louisville, Ky.; and
  • South Bend, Ind., to and from Harrisburg and Chattanooga.
  • USF Holland says these lanes were upgraded earlier this year and monitored for consistent on-time delivery. With a record of nearly 100 percent on-time deliveries, these long distance next-day lanes provide customers a unique opportunity to accelerate shipments in their supply chain, according to the company.

    “USF Holland has built its reputation on extremely reliable, claim-free next-day service,” says John O’Sullivan, president of the Holland, Mich.-based company. “Upgrading these lanes to next-day delivery is the most effective way for our customers to benefit from a ‘USF Holland level’ of service.”
