In what is its ninth school acquisition to date, Roadmaster Drivers School on Thursday, Nov. 8, announced the purchase of Interstate Driving Academy in Dunn, N.C., 40 miles north of Fayetteville. Terms were not announced.

Renamed Roadmaster Drivers School of North Carolina, Roadmaster offers truck driver training and commercial driver’s license exam preparation at the new location. While Roadmaster’s North Carolina trucking school is a four-week program, other Roadmaster Drivers Schools have three-week truck driver training programs that teach students how to care for and safely drive a truck. They have evening and weekend classes and pre-hire possibilities, as well as free job placement assistance for as long as the Roadmaster graduate is a driver. There also is financial assistance for qualified students.

Other Roadmaster trucking school locations include Indianapolis; Columbus, Ohio; Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando, Fla.; West Memphis, Ark.; San Antonio; and Salt Lake City. For more information, call 800-831-1300 or go to www.roadmaster.com.
