Champion Laboratories — an Albion, Ill.-based provider of automotive, fuel dispensing and heavy-duty filtration products — announced the appointment of Stephen Horn to vice president of sales. In this position, Horn will be a member of the executive staff and have responsibility for the sale of Champion filtration products worldwide, including brand names such as Champ, PetroClear, Kleener and Luber-finer.
Horn has extensive sales and senior management experience. Prior to joining Champion Laboratories, he served as business unit president for the traditional aftermarket for Perfection Clutch, based in Timmonsville, S.C. He also served for many years as vice president of sales for Raybestos Brakes, based in McHenry, Ill., and prior to that was vice president of sales and marketing for Apex Automotive Warehouse, based in Chicago.
