The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the American Transportation Research Institute will co-host another in a series of national online forums that provide peer-to-peer industry highlights on safety technologies.
The Jan. 8 webinar — which starts at 12 noon ET and ends at 1:30 p.m. ET — will focus on carrier utilization of untethered trailer-tracking (UTT) systems and their potential for enhancing asset management and security in trucking operations.
Industry participants in the webinar will hear from Mike Gabbei, chief information officer for Celadon Trucking Services, and Al Hoffer, director of trailer operations for Landstar Systems, on their use of UTT systems.
