The Transportation Services unit of First Advantage Corp., a global risk mitigation and business solutions provider, recently announced it has hired technology services veteran Debbie Klarfeld to lead its operations and product development.

As executive vice president of operations, Klarfeld will be instrumental in helping the division deliver on its strategic vision, maximize its assets and ensure its leadership position in providing the highest level of market-driven services to clients. In her new role, she will oversee all product lifecycle stages and all aspects of customer support.

The company says Klarfeld is a seasoned authority in product management, software and business development, marketing, general and leadership management; her leadership has resulted in product, team and bottom-line success across a number of technology-driven organizations, including USIS, Electronic Label Technology and TMS Inc.

“We are delighted to have a leader of Debbie’s caliber on board to help us build on our tradition of market leadership, innovation and customer service,” says Billie Lee, Transportation Services division president for Rancho Cordova, Calif.-based First Advantage. “Her extensive technology background and recognized ability to deliver innovative services, especially within information services, will help us to deliver products and services that will enable our clients to focus on their core business and better manage by exception.”
