FleetCor – a provider of fuel card processing – announced a partnership with Trimble to provide the FleetCor Fleet MasterCard program to Trimble mobile resource management customers. The FleetCor Fleet MasterCard is the only fuel card program that will work with Trimble’s FuelGuard reporting feature – an advanced theft-reduction capability that enables operators to more easily identify the fueling of unauthorized vehicles on company-issued fuel cards, the company says.

“The FleetCor Fleet MasterCard program responds to the needs of the fleet industry for detailed reporting and better control of expenses,” said Ron Rogers, president, Universal Card Programs. “By teaming FleetCor’s detailed reporting with Trimble’s GPS-based fleet management solutions, managers will have the ability to compare where their vehicles are to where fuel is being purchased, quickly identifying suspicious transactions.”

Trimble joins a long list of leading companies that have joined forces with FleetCor including: BP, Chevron, ARCO, Citgo, and The Pantry among others.

“The Trimble program is a natural expansion of our co-branding strategy,” said Ron Clarke, chairman & chief executive officer, FleetCor. “Our strategy is focused on working with the leaders in their respective segments to leverage their brand strengths, distribution assets and large customer bases. The Trimble program is consistent with this strategy; we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”
