Fleet One — a Nashville, Tenn.-based provider of fuel cards and fleet-related payment solutions to businesses and government agencies with vehicles — on Wednesday, April 2, announced a new partnership with Mapco Express to upgrade its Fleet Advantage program to better serve its growing customer base. The company also recently announced several promotions and new hires.

Fleet One says the Mapco agreement allows it to process all aspects of the Mapco Fleet Advantage program to better serve Mapco’s growing customer base by consolidating billing and providing state-of-the-art reporting. Since 1997, Mapco Express has accepted the Fleet One Local card at its retail fuel and convenience stores in eight Southeast states.

Mapco’s upgraded Fleet Advantage program features several benefits, including 24/7 customer care, ability to make real-time account changes, additional payment options, tracking/monitoring of purchases, and no transaction fees. Fleet Advantage card holders are in the process of transitioning to the upgraded card.

“We have enjoyed our relationship with Mapco for many years,” says Robert “Bert” Nix, Fleet One’s vice president of merchant acceptance. “Their confidence in us to handle their Fleet Advantage program promises much efficiency in time, money and human resources, as well as more options for card users.”
