TMW Systems, provider of enterprise management software designed specifically for the transportation services industry, has passed rigorous Microsoft certification testing for a new Cash Receipts software module that extends Dynamics GP’s cash management capabilities.

The certification program identifies applications available for Microsoft Dynamics that have been tested for quality and compatibility and are supported by positive customer references. The new module, TMW GP Cash Receipt Add-In, is designed to streamline cash receipt processing for customers in high-volume invoice environments, a description that fits many TMW clients using Microsoft’s Dynamics GP today.

“We are pleased to offer this business solution for a frequently painful accounting function that saves time and improves clerical accuracy,” said David Mook, TMW chief operating officer and chief technology officer.

According to TMW Software Engineer Ken Mader, existing GP functionality can be cumbersome for clients operating in a high invoice volume environment. The TMW GP Cash Receipt Add-In facilitates rapid input of cash receipts and employs 10-Key Data Entry to process and pay multiple invoices. A quick-pick list feature permits partial data entry of invoice numbers for faster record retrieval. Reference number support provides flexibility for TMW customers to process cash receipts by purchase order numbers or other references instead of only by invoice numbers. With the TMW GP Cash Receipt Add-In, Dynamics GP customers can increase the speed and accuracy of cash receipt data input, the company says.

The new application has been fully tested and validated by more than one dozen TMW customers. For TMW, the new certification is in addition to its existing Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status, attained in 2005, the company added.
