The new North American Commercial Truck Outlook Report service being launched by FTR Associates in September will incorporate information provided for the last 20 years by the company to ACT Publications’ Commercial Truck Bus and Trailer Industry Outlook, which is being disbanded at the end of 2008.

Additionally, FTR says its new service will contain expanded coverage of transportation and logistics issues, freight segmentation, commodity analysis, modal analysis, truck productivity, capacity utilization, truck unit forecasts and more.

“FTR has the experience in providing and analyzing the required information to develop clear outlooks for the commercial truck industry, and we wanted to be sure that this expertise continued to be available to industry participants after ACT Publications ceases to publish their report at the end of this year,” says Eric Starks, president of Nashville, Ind.-based FTR Associates.

Information on how to receive this new report can be found at www.ftrassociates.net or by calling 888-988-1699, Ext. 41.
