Ruan Transport Corp. recently honored driver Steve Muirhead with the Ruan Million Mile Safety Award in recognition of his one million miles of accident-free driving for the company.
“Steve Muirhead is a person of high character and principal, a valuable asset to Ruan and the community,” says Dave Cochran, Muirhead’s manager. “He has always been an outstanding member of our team. Steve, without fail, will always accomplish whatever task he has been assigned, safely and efficiently.”
Muirhead, who has driven for Ruan for 10 years, has received seven safety awards from the Des Moines, Iowa-based company. He will be presented his award this month at Ruan’s annual safety recognition banquet, where he will receive a personal plaque of recognition and customized jacket honoring his accomplishment.
