GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services’ chief marketing officer, John Righini, presented comprehensive approaches to green facilities and green supply chains within the fleet industry at the fourth annual AltWheels Fleet Day. Key insights included how technology can be applied to reduce fleet costs and CO2 emissions.

Righini has been an industry leader in identifying new technologies and services to help customers address environmental and operational challenges. Beginning in 2004, he was instrumental in developing, launching and driving GE’s ecomagination strategy, a business initiative to help meet customer demand for more energy-efficient products.

“GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services saves customers time and money, enhances productivity and can help reduce their fleet’s impact on the environment,” Righini says. “We offer a broad and growing portfolio of solutions from our environmental consultative services to telematics, all designed to help customers reduce carbon emissions. It’s exciting to share with fleet leaders how these innovative technologies contribute to a sustainable transportation vision for the 21st century.”

AltWheels Fleet Day was held Sept. 29 in Framingham, Mass. The event draws fleet managers and commercial vehicle operators interested in the latest transportation technologies and clean, sustainable sources of energy. GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services, based in Eden Prairie, Minn., was an event sponsor.
