Decker Truck Line announced that M. Brett Duncan was selected as September Driver of the Month for the company’s flatbed division, while Carl Vettel was selected as September Driver of the Month for the Fort Dodge, Iowa-based company’s reefer/van division. Duncan lives in Des Moines, Iowa, and Vettel resides in Hampton, Iowa.
Drivers and owner-operators are nominated monthly by their dispatcher. They are selected based on overall performance within all areas of the company, including operational productivity, safety record, maintenance/care of equipment (including idle time), payroll, billing and customer service. All monthly honorees are eligible to be chosen as Driver/Owner-Operator of the Year.
