Aljex Software – a provider of hosted software for freight brokers, carriers and third-party logistics providers – announced it has launched the Aljex Load Board that offers available truckloads from Aljex’s freight broker and 3PL customers. Access to the Aljex Load Board is free for carriers initially and will remain free for carriers that sign on during an introductory period. Carriers can access the board at www.aljex.com by clicking on “Available Loads” in the upper left corner.

Brokers who are not Aljex customers cannot post to the Aljex Load Board. Aljex says most of its broker and 3PL customers are members of the Transportation Intermediaries Association, which sets high standards for membership.

Since Aljex software is hosted – provided over the Internet – the thousands of loads generated by Aljex customers every day can be made available to carriers through the same Aljex website.

“This is a very logical and very exciting step for Aljex and an excellent new resource for carriers,” says Tom Heine, president of the Middlesex, N.J.-based company. “With so many excellent brokers and 3PLs among our customers, it makes terrific sense to show all our customers’ available loads in a single location on the Aljex website.”

According to Heine, Aljex soon will launch a similar board for participating carriers to post their available equipment. “Aljex is making the business of transportation faster and easier to conduct,” he says. “The Aljex Load Board takes that process a step further by helping to build beneficial business relationships as well.”
