ArvinMeritor names Livingston GM/CVA, North America

ArvinMeritor announced Thursday, Oct. 9, that it has named Terry Livingston general manager for its Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket business in North America, responsible for developing growth strategies for the business, establishing its strategic direction and overseeing the implementation of targeted sales and marketing plans.

“Terry brings a unique skill set to his new role as general manager for North America,” says Joe Mejaly, vice president and general manager of CVA for Troy, Mich.-based ArvinMeritor. “He has spent eight years in the commercial aftermarket business leveraging his finance background to develop creative strategies and customer solutions to grow our business.”

Prior to this appointment, Livingston held positions of increasing responsibility within ArvinMeritor’s finance group and has been integral to the overall growth of the CVA business during his time with the company. Most recently, Livingston served as worldwide director of finance for CVA, located in Florence, Ky.

Before joining ArvinMeritor, Livingston spent more than 10 years with other companies, including Schneider Electric as controller and Arthur Andersen as a senior accountant.
