Transportation services company Idealease — which provides more than 45,000 trucks, tractors and trailers to its commercial customers, and has more than 400 leasing locations in North America — announced that it has named Navistar Parts as its Supplier of the Year.
“We have received a level of involvement and customer support from Navistar that is far above and beyond the service we have expected,” says Dan Murphy, executive vice president of North Barrington, Ill.-based Idealiease. “Navistar Parts has the largest parts-distribution network in North America and is able to respond very quickly to our needs. It also has tailored its parts programs to fit our needs and the needs of our customers.”
Murphy presented the award to Phyllis Cochran, senior vice president and general manager of Warrenville, Ill.-based Navistar Parts Group, at the recent Idealease Annual Meeting in Hollywood, Fla.
“This award recognizes the outstanding support by our dealers and by our parts team to help maximize vehicle uptime for Idealease customers,” Cochran says. “Our product is customer service. We believe the organization supporting our customers is just as important as our products themselves. When our customers succeed, we succeed.”
